Curriculum has been updated and expanded. We are seeking NAST accreditation which requires
a minimum of 81 hours in Theatre in the BFA degree.
2.
If applicable, explain how the change(s) will affect the current program outcomes and
assessment mechanisms.
These changes will strengthen the BFA in Theatre; the new breadth in the degree will satisfy
NAST standards.
3.
Faculty Resources: How will the unit provide faculty support for this change and any
other impact this change may have on other current departmental listings.
We currently have adequate resources to teach this course. The anticipated addition of other
faculty members in Theatre will make the scheduling of this curriculum much easier in the future.
4.
Educational Resources: Will this change require additional resources not currently
available (e.g. space, equipment, library, other)?

a 37-62 hours in Theatre in the BA degree.

These changes will strengthen the BA in Theatre; the new breadth in the degree will satisfy NAST
standards.

We currently have adequate resources to teach this course. The anticipated addition of other
faculty members in Theatre will make the scheduling of this curriculum much easier in the future.

Curriculum has been updated and expanded. We are seeking NAST accreditation which requires
a 37-62 hours in Theatre in the BA degree.

assessment mechanisms.
These changes will strengthen the BA in Theatre; the new breadth in the degree will satisfy NAST
standards.
