HEC-HMS Hydrological Package for Applications in Auckland (one day course)

This one day training course is designed to provide an overview on the HEC-HMS package including
illustrated examples and a workshop session to teach the practical use of the programme. Basic
knowledge of the hydraulics, hydrology, Auckland Council approved stormwater management practices
and the Technical Publications TP10 and TP108 is desirable.

Overview of the program’s menu structure;
Capabilities and limitations of the program;
Use of the package in the context of the general TP10 and TP108 applications;
Practical ‘tips’ useful for the effective and efficient use of the program;
Overview of design tools offered by the program including hydraulic analysis
