Sixteen Fundamental Truths REQUIREMENTS *Note: If your church is not Assemblies of God, complete the following requirements using the Statement of Faith from your denomination/ fellowship. 1 royal 1. Read the *Assemblies of God Statement of Fundamental Truths and all accompanying Scripture verses. The information may be found at www.ag.org. Leader’s Initials 2. Learn the title for each of the Sixteen Fundamental Truths and one corresponding Scripture. Say each of these to your group leader in a meeting. Leader’s Initials 3. Choose ONE of the Sixteen Fundamental Truths for further study with a partner. Obtain a copy of Bible Doctrines (GPH item 02-0886) and read the chapter on the Truth you have chosen. As part of your study, speak to a pastor of your church about why that doctrine is important and how it impacts your daily life. Leader’s Initials 4. Use the information you and your partner gathered to create a presentation on the Fundamental Truth you chose. Present it to your Expedition Rangers group. Be as big, loud, and colorful as possible, utilizing multimedia and other presentation tools. Leader’s Initials 5. Develop a five to seven minute devotion on the Fundamental Truth you chose. Use the guidelines found in the “Delivering Life-Changing Devotions” chapter of the Royal Rangers Leader Manual: Inspire the Journey. Deliver the devotion to your group, a Royal Rangers group younger than yours, or another discipleship group sponsored by your local church. Under the guidance of your leader, learn how to use the “Make New Disciples” tool. Practice using it several times with another member of your patrol. Pray for an opportunity to use this tool to win one of your friends to Christ.
