Important:
A $250 scholarship sponsored by the Black Faculty and Staff Association will be
awarded.
Scholarship recipients will be selected by the Black Faculty and Staff
Association Scholarship Committee.
Students must be currently enrolled full-time at the University of Central Florida
(UCF) and have at least ONE semester remaining with a minimum UCF cumulative
GPA of a 2.8.
The recipients are required to attend the Black Faculty and Staff Association
Mentoring Celebration on January 23, 2014 at 8 a.m. in the Pegasus Ballroom
to be a recipient of the award.
Application deadline January 6, 2014

Complete the scholarship application
Submit an original written essay with the scholarship application.
Submit the application and written essay prior to the deadline
Answer the essay question - How will this scholarship allow you to positively
contribute the UCF community? Please include specific examples of how you will
be able to impact the campus by receiving this scholarship in your essay.
Please submit the scholarship application and typed essay by Monday, January 6, 2014 at
5:00 p.m. to the Black Faculty and Staff Association via email at bfsa@ucf.edu.
