Social network analysis for various western dance forms using graph database - Neo4j. Performed centrality analysis to draw
interesting inferences highlighting relationship between different dance forms based on dance moves as a major parameter.
Content Extraction and Search for DARPA jobs data (Java, Apache Tika, Apache Lucene, Apache Solr, Apache OODT)
Developed a workflow to crawl job posting files, perform data transformations, run deduplication algorithm like string similarity
metrics and index these processed files on SOLR. Performed analytics by aggregating data fields using SOLR functional queries.
DARPA Employment Data Visualization (Java, Javascrip, D3.js, HTML5, CSS3, Apache Solr, Apache Maven, Apache Tomcat)
Created charts and maps to visualize the employment dataset to analyze trends based on various spatio-temporal parameters
like location, time, jobtypes using D3.js. The data is preprocessed using Yahoo reverse geocoder API and indexed using SOLR.

Simulation of finding the nearest fire hydrant in a fire zone using Oracle’s spatial objects. Using Java swings created a User
Interface to make the fire zone as polygons and buildings that intersected it.

IP Acceleration (Kernel programming, C)
Implemented Software-based zero-copy OS-bypass method for Linux over Gigabit Ethernet. Proposed a solution to avoid
multiple copies that persist during data transfers, to reduce the CPU burden upto 5-10% and achieve good data transfer speed.
Publication: Published technical paper on ‘TCP/IP protocol acceleration’ in IEEE Xplore at the international conference (ICCCI)
Awards: Won 1st prize in ‘National level’ competition ‘Concepts’ and was selected amongst top 11 projects though out India
