Why take a CLEP or DSST test? PLYMOUTH STATE UNIVERSITY CONTINUING EDUCATION • Get credit for the things you already know without having to sit through a class • Save time. Most exams last 90-120 minutes, and then you’re done, compared with the 120 credit hours associated with a standard college course • Save Money. Reducing the number of classes you have to take lowers the price of your education • Leverage skills you have already acquried through independent study, prior course work, on-the-job training, professional development, cultural pursuits or internships; DSST exams don’t requires additional learning. Payments and Costs Payment for CLEP exams is $80 and is made online at the College Board website http://clep.collegeboard.org/register/exam/ Payment for DSST exams will be processed at the time of the test. Payment is made online via credit card. Both exams require a PSU testing admistration fee of $30 per test which are paid at time of test.
