Why take a CLEP or DSST test?
PLYMOUTH STATE UNIVERSITY CONTINUING EDUCATION
• Get credit for the things you already know without
having to sit through a class
• Save time. Most exams last 90-120 minutes, and then
you’re done, compared with the 120 credit hours associated
with a standard college course
• Save Money. Reducing the number of classes you have
to take lowers the price of your education
• Leverage skills you have already acquried through independent
study, prior course work, on-the-job training, professional
development, cultural pursuits or internships; DSST exams don’t
requires additional learning.
Payments and Costs
Payment for CLEP exams is $80 and is made online at the College
Board website http://clep.collegeboard.org/register/exam/
Payment for DSST exams will be processed at the time of the test.
Payment is made online via credit card.
Both exams require a PSU testing admistration fee of
$30 per test which are paid at time of test.
CLEP and DSST exams are scheduled through
the Director of Continuing Education, Gail Carr.
Continuing Education Office Mary Lyon 34K
