Perspective Users’ Conference agenda Keynote Speaker Raymond Smith, Sony Pictures Entertainment Raymond Smith, most recently, Senior Vice President of Global Investigative and Forensic Services at Sony Pictures Entertainment, has significant and varied experience in both the public and private sectors. After spending 20 years in local law-enforcement, he has spent the last 13 years in the corporate sector. While in the public sector, he initiated, planned, and executed complex criminal investigations involving hi tech crimes as well as coordinated and led multiple law-enforcement agencies in investigations and prosecution. While in the private sector, he has, as a Certified Fraud Examiner, investigated complex fraud and embezzlement, sensitive conflicts of interest, thefts of intellectual property, economic espionage, network abuse/intrusions, etc. His most significant experience was the recent cyber-attack by North Korea where he was the lead investigator for Sony pictures working closely with the FBI and consultants to respond to and address the threat.
