The event will feature over 25 hours of original content including keynote sessions,
breakouts, product roadmap presentation, customer panel discussions, executive workshops,
and product training.

Expansion and growth often seem inevitable, and sometimes unavoidable. In this session,
hear from our SME, Melissa Davis, on how to avoid or adapt to some of the growing pains
when expanding Perspective. Then hear a longtime advocate and customer, Mary Holland,
discuss how she handled moving from IRIMS to Perspective, a major acquisition, disparate
groups, challenges from her exec, and how she kept it all going.
Industry Sessions (3:15 PM – Multiple Rooms)
It’s not always easy to share, or ask questions; in a large group setting… we realize that. So,
to facilitate discussion amongst attendees, we’re going to break you into like groups where
a moderator will lead Q&A and discussion. With so many Perspective users present in one
place, this session is all about sharing experiences, lessons learned and current challenges.

Administration – Forms & Labels: Learn how to setup and customize your Perspective
system, including how to change labels, add and maintain lookup lists, and how to specify
required fields.
Administration – Rights & Privileges: Get a handle on user security by learning more about
roles and users. Discover how to properly customize your system settings, setup roles and
user accounts, assign workgroups, and apply access levels.
Business Intelligence – A User’s Experience: In this customer led session, see firsthand how
Perspective user Jonathon Carrell of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama is approaching
performance management and reporting- including the unique aspect of integrating to an
external BI tool, Tableau. Note: Not Hands-On.
Analysis Expert – Analyzing your Data: Learn how to generate more advanced queries with
multiple criteria, and explore the options for analyzing your data once the query has executed
from charts to built-in Pivot Tables.
Analysis Expert – Query Building: Explore Analysis Expert, from navigation of the interface,
to creating and editing basic queries.

Custom Reports – Tables: Explore how to add a table to a custom report including format
changes, grouping and adding sums and averages.
Custom Reports – Crosstabs: Discover how to implement Crosstabs which will allow you to
include multiple data layers in your reports by incorporating row and column layouts.
Custom reports – Charts: The Custom Report Designer provides different chart types that
can be added to a report – this session focuses on adjusting the appearance, properties and
controls for the charts.

Dispatching – Advanced Administration: This course will show you the administration side of
DispatchLog using the Perspective Administration module. You will learn how to provide users
with access to DispatchLog, build Dispatching Category lists, add officers and build in Visual
Alerts.
Introduction to Custom Reports: Explore our new Custom Reporting feature by learning how
to build a basic analysis expert query and custom report from scratch. Our team will walk you
through the initial navigation and basic features and then teach you how to build a report
hands-on.
Introduction to Perspective – Part 1: Perfect for new users! Learn how to navigate
Perspective, how to build views, and how to add persons, organizations, items, and vehicles.

Executive Track (March 2)
Risk. Managed. – An Executive Workshop (9:00 AM – Room 5)
Host/Moderators: Brian McIlravey, EVP; Joe Crampton, VP Product Design; Shayne Bates,
LMC Counsulting Group
This session will be co-hosted by Brian McIlravey and Joe Crampton, and moderated
by Shayne Bates. Shayne is an internationally recognized security executive with a rare
combination of consistent business achievement, and a key strategic business partner
to executive teams. He has experience with stakeholders on a global scale, including
Fortune 50, Government, Law Enforcement and Industry. Shayne was instrumental in the
development of the 2015 ASIS/ANSI/ISO Risk Assessment Standard.
In this half-day workshop, Shayne will facilitate a roundtable discussion focusing on the next
generation of enterprise risk, how it adapts and interacts with security and understanding
the fundamentals of how and where you need to apply it. In the second half, partake in an
interactive session on risk assessment and how to use the new Perspective toolsets for risk
and leverage your investment.

The Connection between Security, Risk, and Compliance – An Introductory

In this working session, Joe will explore the inevitable connection between security, risk, and
compliance. How does Incident Management, Investigations, Continuous Monitoring, PSIM/
SIEM integration connect to Risk Management, Assurance, Internal Controls, Fraud, Business
Continuity, Compliance, IT Risk & Security, and Vendor Risk Management? In more ways than
you may think.
Joe is a 10 year veteran at Resolver and is instrumental in the product management and
design of our applications.

Raymond Smith, Sony Pictures Entertainment
Raymond Smith, most recently, Senior Vice President of
Global Investigative and Forensic Services at Sony Pictures
Entertainment, has significant and varied experience
in both the public and private sectors. After spending
20 years in local law-enforcement, he has spent the
last 13 years in the corporate sector. While in the public
sector, he initiated, planned, and executed complex
criminal investigations involving hi tech crimes as well as
coordinated and led multiple law-enforcement agencies
in investigations and prosecution. While in the private
sector, he has, as a Certified Fraud Examiner, investigated
complex fraud and embezzlement, sensitive conflicts
of interest, thefts of intellectual property, economic
espionage, network abuse/intrusions, etc. His most
significant experience was the recent cyber-attack by North
Korea where he was the lead investigator for Sony pictures
working closely with the FBI and consultants to respond to
and address the threat.
Mr. Smith holds a Master of Arts degree in Organizational
Management/Business (MAOM), as well as a B.A. in the
Administration of Criminal Justice and Government. He
is a member of the High Technology Crime Investigator’s
Association (HTCIA), past VP and President of the Silicon
Valley Chapter as well as a member of the American
Society of Industrial Security (ASIS), and the Association of
Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
