 A self-enrollment option - students
access the eWC by clicking the
eWriting Center link on their
Blackboard main page
 Available 24 hours a day – 7 days a
week
 Asynchronous - Writing Consultants
may review submissions at times other
than the submission time/date and will
not be available to communicate online
via email or chat rooms
Please Note:
Turn Around time for eWriting Submissions
is 48 hours. Please plan ahead when
submitting your paper.

To facilitate student learning we ask that each student adhere to the Writing Center
policies Students should:
 Prepare ahead of time and not wait until the last minute to seek writing assistance.
 Come to each session with ideas, questions and a willingness to participate as an active
learner
 Understand that writing conferences are not intended to be a drop-off or proofreading
service, and the writing consultants will identify parts of the writing process which the
student needs to improve
 Acknowledge that the Writing Center is not responsible for your grades or instructor
comments and it is not a place where papers are written for you.
