Commonwealth Home Support Program • From 1 July 2015, the Australian Government will launch the Commonwealth Home Support Program • Combining Commonwealth HACC, National Respite for Carer’s Program & Day Therapy Centres Program Residential Aged Care • Residential aged care is for older people who can no longer live at home. • Aged care homes are owned and operated by individuals and organisations that have Commonwealth Government approval to provide residential care. • Aged care homes provide varying levels of support ranging from daily tasks and personal care to 24-hour nursing care.
