Let’s Talk About % of Instruction • This column is determined by what % the teacher contributed to the students performance on the assessment. • EC, ESL, or other intervention should be deducted from the total %. • For each day, week, or month, how much time does the student spend with the teacher as apposed to the interventionist? • Time spent divided by total time available. CLAIMING INFORMATION REPORT Overclaimed and Underclaimed student reports are combined to show all claiming information for a student. What About Over/Under Claiming • It is acceptable to have an underclaimed student. • Long term sub, teacher/student leaves/arrives during the year. • It is not acceptable to have an overclaimed student. • If the overclaiming is within the LEA, please make corrections by either/both parties. • If overclaiming is not within 1 LEA, not expected to make changes. Here, we’ll examine the old and new language. TEXT CHANGES Previously we referred to timeframes in Roster Verification as “windows” as in the Preview Window. Now, the time frames will be identified as “phase” as in the Preview Phase. TEXT CHANGES Previously, Approved was identified as the “Verified” list or bucket. The list still holds the same meaning in that the school admin has examined the rosters and they are accurate and awaiting submission to the district level. Questions??
