Certificate Programs Certificate in Workers Compensation This 12-week program in Workers Compensation is designed to provide detailed foundation knowledge concerning this important coverage. The curriculum identifies and explores how the various pieces of the workers compensation “puzzle” fit together, including history, coverage areas, claims, risk management, and pricing, among others. This designation program, sponsored by The American Society of Workers Compensation Professionals (AMCOMP) will use the AMCOMP textbook, Workers Compensation: The First One Hundred Years. The program is taught by the book’s author and other specialists in the workers compensation field, and will be supplemented by an ethics guide. Students who complete the course and pass an examination will be qualified for the Workers Compensation Professional (WCP) designation.
