Pop Rap Duo Timeflies Joins Disney Channel’s Dove Cameron, Before
You Exit, RaeLynn and Skylar Stecker to Rock the Crowd at
The New Albany Classic:
Timeflies’ third album to debut the same weekend as The Classic
[New Albany, Ohio] – On Sunday, September 20, pop rap duo Timeflies
will take the stage before an audience of screaming fans of all ages at
the 18th Annual New Albany Classic Invitational Grand Prix & Family
Day. Joining the band at the Concert at The Classic presented by Justice
and emceed by Radio Disney and Mix 107.9 will be The Girl and The
Dreamcatcher featuring Dove Cameron (Disney Channel's Liv and
Maddie, Descendants) and Ryan McCartan, pop trio Before You Exit,
country singer-songwriter RaeLynn and rising teen star and singersongwriter Skylar Stecker.
Rob “Rez” Resnick and Caleb Shapiro met as students in 2007 at a party at Boston’s Tufts University. They
began making freestyle music in their dorm rooms and eventually graduated to playing fraternity parties and
small venues. The pair then became Timeflies and catapulted from that makeshift dormitory beat lab to soldout shows everywhere fueled by the weekly tradition “Timeflies Tuesday” on YouTube, where they showcase
new music. The program has grown into a phenomenon, exceeding 125 million views to date.
Following 2011 indie breakout, The Scotch Tape, Timeflies’ 2014 first major label offering, After Hours,
debuted at #8 on the Billboard Top 200, went #1 on iTunes Top Pop Albums chart, and yielded the hit “All the
Way” which soared to #2 on Billboard’s Top Digital Songs chart and has earned over 35 million Spotify
streams. They've landed high-profile syncs for films like About Last Night and from MLB, NBC, Red Bull,
American Idol and more. Vanity Fair dubbed them "Musical Masterminds," and the duo has hit the stage on
Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! and on Good Morning America. Their last national headline tour saw every date sell out.
Describing their sound as “music that feels like a good time,” Timeflies is known for mixing elements from all
genres of music, including pop, dance, electronic and hip hop into a unique and fresh sound that they call
“electro hip-pop dub-something.” The duo will debut its third full-length album, Just for Fun,
[Forty8Fifty/Island Records] the same weekend as The Classic and then hit the road for another national tour.

Timeflies completes a diverse line-up of pop and country performers
including newly announced Skylar Stecker and Dove Cameron as well as
previously announced Before You Exit and RaeLynn:
The exciting pop duo, The Girl and The Dreamcatcher, combines the singing
and songwriting talents of Dove Cameron and Ryan McCartan. The
multitalented young stars have performed live in front of thousands and
Cameron and McCartan both star in the popular Disney Channel series Liv
and Maddie. Cameron will also perform her single, "If Only," from the hit
Disney Channel Original Movie Descendants which premiered to over 12.2
million total viewers.
Before You Exit, the latest discovery of legendary manager Johnny Wright,
spent most of last year touring in support of their debut EP, I Like That. The
three brothers opened for top pop acts like Cody Simpson, Olly Murs and
Fifth Harmony and also headlined their own tour as well. Things started to
heat up when the group was named the winners of the third annual
“Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star” campaign, earning them a spot at the
iHeartRadio Music Festival alongside such acts as Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran,
Nicki Minaj and One Direction. The trio also performed at the 2014 Macy’s
Thanksgiving Day Parade and had 3 singles hit the Radio Disney charts. Recent signees to RCA Records, the
group released a hot new single, “Model,” in July.
Charismatic talent RaeLynn’s star has continued to shine since her
introduction to the national spotlight during season two of The Voice. The
21-year-old earned her first CMT Music Award nominations for Female
Video of the Year and Breakthrough Video of the Year with her gold-certified
single “God Made Girls,” the highest charting debut single by a solo female
artist in 2014. RaeLynn is currently on the road with Rascal Flatts and will go
back out on the road again in the fall with fellow Texan Miranda Lambert on
the Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Tour.
Over the last few years, Skylar Stecker’s soulful voice and bright, beatdriven brand of pop have earned her a legion of devoted fans who flock to
her social media pages and express their admiration. The Florida-born,
Wisconsin-raised singer and songwriter has racked up over 27 million views
and nearly 300K subscribers on YouTube. In January 2015, Skylar released
an independent EP, Firecracker, for which she wrote or co-wrote every
song, with the single “Rooftop” attracting more than five million YouTube
views alone. Its success led to Skylar’s recent signing with Cherrytree
Records, where she is the youngest artist to join the roster that boasts Ellie
Goulding, Robyn, and Feist. Now she is gearing up to release her debut fulllength album, entitled This Is Me, on September 25th.

Also an actress, Skylar has guest-starred on ABC’s Super Fun Night with Rebel Wilson and the Disney
Channel’s Austin & Ally. She has also performed live at Webster Hall in New York City, The Roxy in Los Angeles,
and a sold-out show for nearly 900 in her hometown of Madison, WI. at only 13 years old!
