Born 06.04.72 | Married, three daughters aged 7, 5 and 2.
I wish to be challenged in various areas by a company in the forefront of the industry, with international impact,
technologically advanced, and with room for learning and collaboration.
Summary:
Master degree in Physics, 1996. 6.5 years with the consulting firm Accenture and 3.5 years as
administrative manager at the research centre PGP at the University of Oslo. Core competencies include:
Project management and administration: Plan and budget, monitor and report status, handle risks.
Team- and leadership development: Leadership development seminar series including theory and
exercises. Use of psychometric team development tools. Individual coaching.
Knowledge management: Make knowledge, information and experience available for the right people.
I am an outgoing, creative, result-oriented all-rounder with an urge to learn more.
Work experience:
2003-today: Physics of Geological Processes (PGP)
PGP is a cross-disciplinary physics/geology research centre at the University of Oslo (UiO). PGP integrates
fieldwork, laboratory experiments, theory and computer modelling to reach the goal of obtaining a fundamental
and quantitative understanding of the Earth’s complex patterns and processes.
I am the administrative manager of the centre, responsible for all non-scientific activity, including
• Organizational development of a new structure within the University system.
• Budgeting and accounting processes, with funding from sources like UiO, the Norwegian Research Council,
EU and the Oil Industry, totalling ca 50 mill NOK annually. Cost control.
• Personnel management of 60 people (45 man-years) from 15 countries. An extra effort placed on making
excellent scientists become excellent leaders and managers.
• Research administration and IPR, contracts and agreements, information and reporting.
1996-2002: Accenture ANS
Accenture is one on the world’s leading providers of management and technology consultants. I worked with
Organization and Human Performance, primarily within the markets of Communication and High Tech (19992002) and Finance (1996-1999). Core competencies:
Project management and -administration:
Plan and budget, monitor and report status, handle risks.
Team and management development:
Plan, develop and conduct programs for team- and management development. Programs included lectures and
theory, exercises and team-building activities, and use of development tools such as Team Management Profile
(TMP) and 360-degree tools (PMC). Individual coaching and action plans.

Knowledge management:
Develop infrastructure for performance enhancement through making knowledge, information and experience

• Responsible for the development of an electronic competency library for the sales department within the
telecom industry.
• Designer of tools for knowledge exchange in an international division in the telecom industry. Responsible for
selecting and following up sub-contractors.

roles, conduct gap analysis, develop action plans, evaluate and follow up action taken.
• Participated in the implementation of strategic competency development for the technical division of a large
Norwegian financial institution.

• Participated in the development of a CRM strategy for a mobile internet portal.

Organizational consequences of implementing new IT-systems. Role- and routine descriptions. Programming.
• Participated in projects for the financial industry, developing banks’ core systems,and internet bank.

Interests:
I used to play theatre and lead a culturally active life. These days, I prefer children’s books and exploring nature.
Soon, I hope to have children old enough to join me in playing the piano and doing karate, thus allowing me to
revive old interests.
I have always enjoyed traveling. During maternity/paternity leave, we have traveled far and away. In 2000 and
2002 we criss-crossed Europe for 3 and 6 months respectively, taking German and Spanish classes along the way.
In 2005, we packed 2 bags and 3 children, and traveled around the world for 5 months.
