Paolo Lironi Appointed Chief Executive Officer Of SGI Aviation
AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS – August 25, 2014 – SGI Aviation Services B.V., a company of the
Seabury Group, today announced that Paolo Lironi has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO), on
an interim basis, effectively immediately. Mr. Lironi, Executive Director, Leasing, succeeds Wadick
Chomyszyn, longtime CEO.

accomplish the vision he had set with regard to the growth of SGI Aviation. In Paolo Lironi we have a highly
qualified operations and technical leader, who has been instrumental in the company’s success in his role
as Executive Director and who has garnered the respect of his team and the industry at large.”
Paolo Lironi has a strong track record in aircraft leasing, contract negotiation, redeliveries, buyouts, and
end-of-life scenario planning. Mr. Lironi’s clients include financial institutions, lessors, and commercial
airlines. Mr. Lironi originally joined SGI Aviation in 2008. He has more than 10 years of experience in
commercial aviation in the areas of managing engines and technical issues, negotiating MRO & lease
contracts, and dealing with OEMs. Prior to SGI Aviation, he was Director of Engine Services at IASG, in
addition to his previous experience in working for various airlines and aviation groups, including TES and
AZZURRAair and Volare. Mr. Lironi holds an MBA degree from MIP, School of Business. A graduate of
Politecnico di Milano in Milan, Italy, Mr. Lironi also holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering and a Master’s
degree in Aerodynamics.
