In 2006, Ed assumed responsibility for P&G’s largest region, North America, delivering share growth while driving the implementation of P&G’s new go-tomarket capabilities behind a primary focus on in-store execution. He also led the reorganization and simplification of the work between the regional business units and the North American Market Development Organization, driving out overhead costs to increase brand- building funds.
