Promoted to the newly established position and appointed to the leadership of the on-line program. Responsible
for admission decisions, academic review and integrity, curriculum review and alignment with SHRM and HRCI
competency models. Primary point of contact with external infrastructure supplier.
 Continued to function in the previous position until a replacement was hired in 2015.

Assistant Director – Faculty Development HRD On-line - (November 2012 - June 2014)
Support the HRD On-line program by administering the faculty schedules, faculty development and support
students with learning resources and advising.
 Recruited and on-boarded multiple new adjunct faculty members for a variety of new courses to balance
the teaching load which met University guidelines for adjunct faculty.
 Reviewed and addressed cases of student performance and review academic standing to that assure that
they were being fairly evaluated.
 Lead faculty meetings that communicate updates and provide for faculty development resulting in
improved student evaluation reports. Address issues with faculty performance and revised schedules.

 Managed blended learning program, using live virtual instruction and e-learning, to prepare project
managers for the Project Management Professional certification exam. Instruction time reduced, no
travel, more support resources, at 50% of cost and maintain 90% +pass rate on exam.

Facilitated pilot web-based program converted from classroom version. Modular program was improved, and
investigated use of web-cam or teleconferencing combined with computer presentations, SharePoint and
application sharing to be more engaging.

Designed IT management certificate curriculum, and delivered all programs for over 100 people. Managed
the rollout and tracked completion via special course catalog in the company Learning Management System.
All managers completed eight courses in a rolling 24 months.
Created a Train-the-Manager to Coach program to support Customer Service training for all employees to
shift the culture in the IT function to more customer driven. Used a blended approach of online instruction
and support materials for managers to reinforce and apply concepts in the workplace. Success measures
include increase in customer satisfaction scores and observed behavior change.
Regional Training Manager (2001-2004)
Plan and implement Leadership Development curriculum for managers and supervisors in nine Distribution
Centers, aligned with business objectives.
 Assigned to strategic project to develop Inventory Managers in 30 US Distribution Centers. Identified
competencies needed in changing role from reactive problem solver to proactive forecaster of inventory
levels. Developed and provided functional training resources. Anticipated savings were $ 12.2 million over 3
years in reduced inventory while maintaining customer satisfaction ratings.
 Designed and delivered first line supervisory leadership development training, utilizing 360 feedback and
succession planning process, resulting in improved employee relations and promotions.

Promoted and implemented SB On-line University in United States, designed to bring electronic education to the
individual workstation via the computing network.
 Implemented SBOU within a large business sector, covering 30 sites and 11,000 employees accessing three

 Project managed six SB specific courses in conjunction with subject matter experts and external suppliers.
