L.I. Contractor Offers To Rebuild Highbridge Home

SLIDESHOW: Deadly Bronx Blaze
VALLEY STREAM, N.Y. (CBS/AP) ― A Long Island
man has offered to restore the home of the two Bronx
families that burned down last week.
Mark Marinoff says that he felt it was just the right thing
to do. The 55-year-old is the owner of M. Marin
Restoration. He says he has been doing fire restoration
on Long Island and in the city for 35 years.
He says he will donate his services and that he
communicated his offer to Moussa Magassa.

While he has yet to see the damage, Marinoff says once
he knows what it will take to rebuild the home, he plans
to ask suppliers to donate materials.
