Our Subsidiary in Singapore Attained License of Zero-GST Warehouse
One of our wholly owned subsidiaries in Singapore, Sumitomo Warehouse (Singapore) Pte Ltd (“SWS”),
attained Zero-GST Warehouse license administered by Singapore Customs.
Zero-GST Warehouse Scheme came into effect on 1 January 2006 and under the scheme approved
companies can store imported non-dutiable goods with GST (Goods and Service Tax) suspended except for
the goods controlled by Singapore government.
SWS owns warehouse of about 30,000 square meters equipped with Automated Storage and Retrieval
Systems in Tuas district and an office in Changi international airport, and provides logistics services such as
warehouse storage, distribution processing, forwarding and transportation.
SWS, obtaining ISO9001, Quality Management System and ISO14001, Environmental Management
System, promotes improvement of its service quality and preservation of global environment.
