SAP IMPLEMENTATION TEAM
WAREHOUSE & LOGISTICS LEAD
Würth Industry of North America (WINA) has an exciting opportunity
to join our SAP Implementation Team. The preferred location for this
position is Maple Grove, MN.

include, but are not limited to, small parts and assembly materials for industrial, production and MRO needs, personal protection
equipment, and technical-chemical products. We maintain stocking facilities throughout the United States. Our network of locations is
interconnected through the latest inventory software, allowing for exceptional service.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Lead successful implementation of WS1 version of SAP within Wurth Group entities in the US.
First point of contact for questions or issues related to SAP warehouseing and logistics functionality for US users. Focus on the
warehousing and logistics functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•
Working as a complete US SAP Implementation Team, manage implementation projects and timelines for SAP system implementations for existing US companies, and future companies acquired by WINA in the US.
•
Function as the warehouse and logistics subject matter expert on the team.
•
Manage the requirements of multiple company implementations in differing phases of implementation at the same time.
•
Travel to Wurth Group companies in US and internationally to ensure successful implementations.
•
Manage Microsoft Project Plan and coordinate the action items with the Project Manager at the respective WINA company.
•
Hold recurring meetings with Company Project Managers.
•
Hold Company Project Managers accountable for action items necessary to ensure successful implementation of SAP for that
Company.
•
Interface and communicate constantly with all members of the US SAP Implementation Team.
•
Perform business analysis for the company’s who will implement SAP, including understanding their company, corporate structure, operating methodologies and all business processes to gain a complete understanding of their business processes in their current information system.
•
Lead process development discussions with the WINA companies, to walk through existing processes and procedures, and link those to the functionality of SAP to assist companies in developing processes and procedures for their companies within the SAP functionality.
•
Lead data uploads for critical data from the current information system into the SAP system.
•
Train company super-users on SAP system functionality with a thorough and complete understanding of such functionality.
•
Assist company users in running usability tests prior to going live.
•
Assist company super-users in the training of all end users in SAP system functionality.
•
Support companies onsite for the weeks leading up to and following go-live on the SAP solution.
•
Troubleshoot problems with systems and processes to ensure the optimal system and business functionality for the WINA companies.
•
Be the first point of contact for the US WINA companies for SAP support.
•
Communicate effectively with international support teams, including the WIS SAP Implementation Team, the Comgroup SAP Support Team, the Comgroup SAP Development Team and all required teams to provide complete SAP support to the US
WINA Companies.
•
Continuous improvement and development of the WS1 SAP system and/or process enhancements.
•
Provide SAP technical and architecture guidance to project teams in support of solution design and development.
•
Participate and provide oversight to the implementation of SAP. Define standards, processes, and industry best practices for SAP operational excellence
•
Partner with other IT functional and technical teams with implementation requirements of SAP modules (FI, CO, SD, MM, PP, QM) to deliver functional and technical solutions to meet business objectives.
•
Work with the SAP team for translating functionality requirement into technical attributes and vice versa
•
Assist with the creation of BPPs (Business Process Procedures) based on analyzing business requirements and process analysis
•
Other duties as needed/assigned.

Advanced technical knowledge of information systems and business processes is required.
Bachelors degree preferred.
Advanced knowledge of warehousing and logistics business processes and information systems, including receiving, shipping, put-away, zone picking, secondary processing, and warehouse automation.
Advanced experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
Advanced Excel skills.
Project Management experience is required.
Experience in successfully working with multiple projects at varying levels of completion.
Strong attention to detail monitoring data and analyzing reports.
Excellent communication skills via telephone, email, written documentation and verbal communication skills.
Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to effectively convey information to end users.
Ability to solve problems creatively and efficiently.
Ability to train individuals on the functions and processes of the SAP system.
Ability to listen to others to understand requirements and translate those needs to the SAP functionality
Deadline and positive outcome driven.
Experience with SAP a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Project a plus.
Experience with Prophet 21 a plus.
Extensive travel will be required, both internationally and within the US, with some of that travel being for multiple weeks at a time.
May work long hours outside of regular work hours during implementations.
