An effort was made to develop a more realistic picture of average class size in Fall 2008. As in Fall 2007, combined sections were counted as one section. However in Fall 2008, counts were adjusted so that only courses managed with a traditional enrollment cap were included. Courses excluded from the calculations were: low enrollment courses (1-2 students) offered gratis, private lessons, the fitness course, the language lab enrollment, varsity athlete courses, and nursing courses Source: DEN006 from THEC SIS 14th Day Reports Argos/Scheduled Section By Subject QV (TSTS) 14th day excel average class size 10 ACT Average Composite Score Comparisons Enrolled Freshmen Year 1993-94 1994-95 1995-96 1996-97 1997-98 1998-99 1999-00 2000-01 2001-02 2002-03 2003-04 2004-05 2005-06 2006-07 2007-08 2008-09 2009-10 2010-11 2011-12 2012-13 2013-14 2014-15 Average ACT Composite Score Cleveland State National Community College 2-year Colleges 18.7 18.4 18.6 18.9 18.5 18.5 19.2 19.2 18.8 19.0 18.6 * 18.7 19.0 19.0 19.0 18.9 18.6 19.0 18.8 18.9 19.3 21.3 21.4 21.4 21.5 21.8 21.8 21.7 22.1 19.0 18.9 18.8 * 18.9 18.9 19.0 19.0 19.0 19.0 19.0 19.0 18.7 19.1 * No information available for this year Source: ACT, Inc.; High School and Entering college Student Class Profile Reports. A blank indicates the course area did not exist. * Ruberic for BUS & MGT were combined and changed to BUSN *Ruberic for CIS was divided into CIS & INFS to meet Transfer Requirements effective Fall 2011 ***Ruberic for MOA changed to MDA **RODP Regents On-Line Degree (courses that CLSCC does not offer) PED and PHED are combined as PHED Source: Argos/Institutional Research/Scheduled Section by Subject QV 2014 180 202 258 1392 2,954 2,773 2,032 47 Student Credit Hours by Division 16000 14000 12000 10000 8000 6000 4000 2000 0 2010 Hum/SocSc 14341 AppSc/T 9064 Dev Studies 4953 Math/NatS 6330 Health/Well 2655 2011 15050 8258 5643 7021 3100 397 2012 12742 7522 5356 6308 3283 1865 2013 13710 7250 4475 6871 2645 1757 2014 13544 6044 3932 6800 2749 1516 Source: 14th Day SIS Reports INR016X; sch div.xls Source: Argos: Academic Affiars Classes Schedueld Section By College Division Dept excel: sch div.xls. template: pg 43 45 duplicated headcount fall template RODP 664 48 Spring Terms 2011 - 2015 Source: Argos: Academic Affiars_Classes_Schedueld Section By College Division Dept excel: sch div.xls. template: pg 44 46 48 duplicated headcount spring template 49 Full-time and Part-time Credit Headcount and Student Credit Hours Fall Terms 2010 - 2014 Full-time Percent… Headcount Part-time Percent… Full-time Student Credit Hours 4000 40000 3500 35000 24% 3000 43% 2500 44% 47% 50% 44% 26% 30000 29% 30% 28% 70% 72% 25000 2000 20000 76% 74% 71% 1500 57% 56% 53% 50% 56% 1000 10000 500 0 Percent Part Time 15000 5000 Fall 2010 Fall 2011 Fall 2012 Fall 2013 Fall 2014 43% 44% 47% 50% 0 49% Percent Part Time Fall 2010 Fall 2011 Fall 2012 Fall 2013 Fall 2014 24% 26% 29% 30% 28% Percent Full Time 57% 56% 53% 50% 51% Percent Full Time 76% 74% 71% 70% 72% Part-time 1620 1697 1720 1905 1737 Part-time 9413 10286 10620 11261 9829 Full-time 2131 2117 1920 1885 1785 Full-time 29467 28848 26392 25741 24747 Source: 14th Day SIS Reports, INRO23X, Argos: Registered Student Demographics by Student ID, excel Fact Book, enr and sch ftpt Part-time 50 INSTRUCTION BY ALTERNATE DELIVERY FALL SEMESTERS Enrollment 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 Distance Learning* 1418 1752 1726 1669 1487 Athens** 41 44 58 42 7 WWW 854 951 825 905 952 Video 359 317 274 239 193 Independent Study 432 354 325 354 128 Honors 0 31 58 19 17 Early Bird 33 27 25 28 28 Business/Industry 95 108 85 36 27 Dual Enrollment 402 484 581 905 981 Weekend 18 15 25 30 Regents-On-Line Deg 529 559 610 538 468 Advance 242 278 218 202 150 #Hybrid 905 962 1281 1197 1129 #Computer Based Interactive Media 1503 1316 1846 *** #Practium CO-OP 164 149 97 123 102 Student Credit Hours 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 4099 5104 5049 4959 102 132 174 126 2300 2560 2230 2512 1077 951 822 717 600 538 296 402 0 123 319 102 99 81 75 68 333 283 213 91 1204 1416 1679 1679 54 45 75 1694 1777 1946 1742 726 793 612 606 2611 2807 4071 3705 4387 21 2670 579 262 51 68 81 2241 90 1516 450 3520 4509 3948 5304 415 285 339 *** 238 441 FTE 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 273 7 153 72 40 0 7 22 80 113 48 174 340 9 171 63 36 8 5 19 94 4 118 53 187 337 12 149 55 20 21 41 14 112 3 130 41 271 331 8 167 48 27 7 5 5 176 5 116 40 247 292 1 178 39 17 5 5 5 149 6 101 30 235 29 301 28 263 19 354 23 *** 18 Source: 14th Day SIS Reports; rc_sect_codes.fex; rc_crs.fex; alternate delivery.xls *Includes students in all Asynchronus, online, VHS/DVD check out, & RODP at main campus and Athens. **Includes only students in distance learning classes at off-campus site, sorted by "k" at off-campus site. #Alternate Delivery methods were reclassified to match the Instructional Methods for each course ***Math courses are no longer using "CIM".
