For and on behalf of the President of India, Sr.Divisional Commercial Manager, South
Central Railway, Vijayawada Division, Vijayawada invites sealed bids on single stage two
packet system, from Catering Service Providers for dispensing of hot and cold
beverages (Tea/Coffee/Soup/Cool drinks/Packaged drinking water) and hygienically
packaged eatables (Confectionary, Biscuits, Namkeen, Milk products etc.) through Stand
Alone “Automatic Vending Machines” at the following A1, A & B category Stations over
Vijayawada Division for a period of 5 years.

2. The Scope of Work and Terms of Reference is provided in Section A.
3. Bid Documents: The interested Bidders may purchase “Bid Document” which can be
obtained from the Office of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Vijayawada
between 10.00 hours and 18.00 hours on all working days ( excepting Saturdays ,
Sundays and other holidays, if any) from 28.11.2014 to 29.12.2014 in person on
payment of non-refundable document fee of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) in
the form of –
a. Demand Draft in favour of Senior Divisional Finance Manager, South Central
Railway, Vijayawada payable at Vijayawada drawn on any scheduled Commercial
Bank in India.
b. Cash deposited at the Sr.Divisional Cashier (Pay) Office of the Division at
Vijayawada duly supported with original Cash Receipt/Money Receipt indicating the
Bid Notice Number and due date of submission.
4. Bidding
Document
can
also
be
downloaded
from
the
http://www.scr.indianrailways..gov.in and the bids can be submitted on the downloaded
document along with a separate Demand Draft towards the cost of bidding documents at
the time of bidding, failing which the offer will be summarily rejected.
5. Earnest Money: The bid must be accompanied by prescribed Earnest Money of the
concerned AVM in the form of Bank Demand Draft/Bankers Cheque drawn on any
Scheduled Bank in India.
6. Receipt of Bids: Sealed bids should be dropped in the designated tender box at the
address given in Para 9 below between 10.00 hrs to 15.00 hrs on 30.12.2014. Bids
shall be opened on the same day at 15.30 hours in the presence of Bidder or his
representative who choose to attend. For the representative, the letter from the Bidder
authorizing his representative to attend is required. The onus of dropping the bid in the
tender box lies with the Bidder. Bids received after at 15.00 hours will be called “late”
bid and will not be considered for further evaluation.
7. Railway reserves the right to accept/reject any or all Bids without assigning any reason
thereof.
8. The Bidder fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be evaluated based on the evaluation
criteria given in this Bid document.
