Before you even step into class, you tackle an individual
assessment of a case and craft a plan of action. From there,

Exploring Best Practices
Ivey MSc students gain a deeper understanding of the
development and application of management practice
by applying quantitative analysis. This ability to dive deeper
into global business issues is gained by combining Ivey’s
Case-Method Learning with relevant research, seasoned
guest speakers, corporate-led workshops and company
visits. International exchanges and the International
Practicum provide an opportunity for the practical
application of your learning.
International Exchanges
International Practicum
As a CEMS student, you will spend up to two terms
abroad at one of our partner schools, immersed in
another country’s culture while attending classes at
some of the best pre-experience master’s programs in
the world. While instruction at any CEMS partner is in
English, your time abroad will undoubtedly enrich your
learning of language and culture while gaining invaluable
international experience. And as part of the CEMS
community, you’ll have access to networking and social
activities that allow you to connect with influential
alumni and industry partners around the world.
During Term Two, the International Practicum takes you to a
developing economy where you will work with local business
people in solving a current business problem. You will apply the
analytical and consulting skills that you were exposed to in Term
One in order to learn about the challenges and opportunities of
working in this environment. All Ivey MSc students participate in
this 10-week program experience.
