Thursday, February 6th Events in Earth's past
Eras, periods, and epochs, oh my! We read about the structure of Earth's
history and discussed why we have much more fossil evidence from the
Cenozoic compared to the Mesozoic and Paleozoic eras.
Friday, February 7th White Out Spirit Day! Wear White!
We are finishing up questions from yesterday's reading and some classes
started a partner activity on ordering events in Earth's history.

Partner activity challenge: events in Earth's history- students used their
knowledge to order events in Earth's history.
HW: Login to edpuzzle and watch a video you haven't viewed yet! Don't
forget to answer the questions!
Tuesday, February 11th
After working on their own, they "discovered" new information which
required them to go back and reexamine their old ideas about the
events. They used the new information to help them create a final order of
events.
HW: If students scored less than an 8/10 on our reading questions, please
complete corrections for more points!!
Wednesday, February 12th The Great Fossil Find!!
Today we are pretending to be paleontologists by working at a fossil dig
site!
