Breeze
d like to introduce you to Luke Breeze, our new Assistant Student
Ministry Director. Luke discovered his passion for ministering
to teenagers while serving as Assistant Site Pastor at Emmanuel Bible
Chapel in Hazleton, PA. To add, Luke accepted Christ as a teenager as
part of his youth group while in Jr. High. He has an incredible passion
to know Jesus more and influence teens to love Jesus too.
Luke was married to his wife Julie in August of 2013. She too, is from the northeast part of
the state. They came to our area for Julie to study at Mount Aloysius to be an interpreter
for the deaf. Julie is involved as a leader in the college ministry on the campus of Mount
Aloysius. She has a strong desire to spiritually invest in young ladies and see their faith
grow.
Luke brings a unique skill set to our staff with a Audio Production/Engineering degree
from The Institute of Production and Recording in Minneapolis, MN. Also, Luke has great
experience with video production and a firm grasp on current technology. This is a huge
asset in ministering to our tech savvy teens and parents. Luke has musical experience, as he
is an avid banjo player and percussionist. He has great plans to continue the development
of a youth band that can minister to our church and other area teens.
Luke is in the process of finishing a Bachelors of Arts in Leadership and Ministry
from Ohio Christian University. Luke will be able to finish his degree via the internet
as he is enrolled in the “Online Studies” program.
The Lord has provided us a great young man to join the staff here at Emmanuel.
Please be sure to pray for Luke and Julie Breeze as they settle in to the rhythm of
ministry.

Special needs ministry update
ABLE ( our ministry for young adults with special needs) continues to meet on the
1st Tuesday of the month in the Zone from 6:00pm to 7:30pm for Bible lessons,
prayer time, worship and praise. ABLE plans to meet on additional times for continued fellowship (game night, movie night). New participants are welcome! Call or
email for an application.
Planning is underway for a Spring Family Event and a Family Picnic in July. Watch
for announcements! Join our email list!
When Spring cleaning, remember, ABLE is continuing to collect USED SHOES for
their service project with a local nursing home. Over 1200 pairs have been collected so far! Shoes can be dropped off at the Welcome Center in the boxes provided.
