Beyond the Classroom Instructional Assistant Research Field Study Teaching College Psychology *  Students help plan and execute Psych 1, Intro to Psychology, under the guidance of faculty and graduate students. *  They are responsible for running a sec<on, a=ending a weekly mee<ng regarding teaching techniques/course material, and a=ending all lectures. What is Field Study? Psychology Field Study is an academic internship program offered to psychology majors to integrate current and prior coursework with community involvement. For a minimum of two quarters, students devote ten hours a week to a community based internship. Research Research allows you to work as an undergraduate research assistant in current faculty research projects. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your research skills and to work with faculty personally. Senior Thesis Senior thesis gives you an opportunity to directly work with a faculty member and/or graduate student and conduct your own research like a first year graduate student. A great way to prepare yourself for what you will be doing in graduate school and a possibility of getting your research published!!
