Computer Lab Instructions and Activities for Para Empezar
Phschool.com is a website that is full of practice activities for what you will learn
in this course. Today you will go to this website and complete online activities
associated with the Para Empezar vocabulary. To get to this website, go to my
website and click on the Spanish Practice Activities link found at the bottom of my
homepage. From there, click on phschool.com. Do not type the address in your
browser because you will need a code to get to the practice activities. My link will
bypass the code and take you directly to the activities.
Once you click on the phschool link, you will be on the Realidades level I Student
Home Page. There are practice links on this page for every chapter in the book.
Today, make sure you are choosing practice activities for Para Empezar.
ACTIVITIES TO COMPLETE TODAY = Test Preparation and Puzzles:
Find the links under the word Para Empezar at the top of the Realidades I Student
Home Page. Click on the last link, called Test Preparation. It is a multiple choice
practice test. After completing it, you can click the puzzles link and complete the
crossword, the jumble, and the word search. There are a few words in the
puzzle you may not know the meaning of:
contrario = opposite, contrary
o = or
femenino = feminine
Estados Unidos = United States
While you are completing the puzzles, you may need to type a letter with an
accent. To do this, click on the À symbol in the upper left-hand corner next to
the printer icon. Then select the symbol you want and click insert.
If you finish all activities and need more to do, you can go back to the Realidades
Level I Student Home Page and click on Practice Activities in Para Empezar and
complete those.
