USC Viterbi School of Engineering Master of Science Programs Tuition & Fees The majority of Master of Science programs offered by the USC Viterbi School of Engineering require successful completion of 27 units of graduate engineering coursework (9 courses). Tuition and fees for the academic year 2015‐2016 are as follows: Per Unit Graduate Engineering Tuition $1,774 Mandatory Fees Health Insurance (these are the 2014/15 costs, 2015/16 costs will be available in late May) $473 Fall Semester – $610 Spring & Summer Semester – $1,102  Please note that tuition and fees are subject to increase each academic year.  The following breakdown of tuition and fees by semester is based on the academic year 2015‐2016 rate.  The tuition and fees rates for academic year 2016‐2017 have not been published and actual tuition and fees for those semesters is expected to be higher. $53,049 * Health insurance costs listed are for 2014/15. The 2015/16 costs will be posted at http://engemannshc.usc.edu/insurance/insurance‐plan/ in late May. Depending on the actual degree program, and if the student requires prerequisite courses, the total number of units required may be higher. For example:  Master of Science in Computer Science (Game Development) requires completion of 33 units.  The Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering program can requires 1‐4 prerequisite courses, bringing the total to between 30 and 39 units.
