Printed Specialties Inc., Carrollton, GA December 2010 – August 2011 Position: Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager. Duties include: • Handle all Quality issues including Non- Conformance Reports, Customer Complaints and Quality Reports. • Keep ISO Records up to date and handle all audits associated with ISO. • Initiate and head up all continuous improvement projects throughout the plant. • Responsible for a $40,000.00 savings in the pressroom due to the initiation of a utility person. • Responsible for a 5S program throughout the plant that has increased production and improved the overall conditions of the facility. • Responsible for eliminating 1,600 lbs of obsolete copper dies totaling $6,500.00 in recycling revenue to put back into the company. • Responsible for initiating a paper recycling program through the offices to re-coup some of the revenue lost from paper waste. • Started a TPM Schedule, there was currently no TPM Schedule at this plant. • Created a crew member picture board to increase responsibility and morale in the plant. • Created department newsletters to increase communications and pride in the departments.
