The Intensive Program at the University of
Pennsylvania’s English Language Programs
is accredited by the Commission on English
Language Program Accreditation for the period of
August 2006 through August 2016 and agrees to
uphold the CEA Standards for English Language
Programs and Institutions. CEA is recognized
by the US Secretary of Education as a national
accrediting agency for English language programs
and institutions in the US. We also adhere to the
standards of the following two organizations, of
which the ELP is a member: AAIEP: Association
of American Intensive English Programs, UCIEP:
Consortium of University and College Intensive
English Programs.
Enrollment in the ELP does not constitute
admission to any other program at the University
of Pennsylvania.
