New Q2 Instant Recognition Points Cards
Now, it is easier to instantly reward and recognize your employees for a job well done.
The new Q2 Instant Recognition Points Cards will be pre-loaded with 500 points. Your
employees will be responsible for claiming the points on The Save Mart
Connection. If employees lose their cards before claiming their points, they will be
contacting you. Please contact thesavemartconnection@savemart.com if this occurs.
When handing cards out to your employees, be sure to fill out the back of the card so
they know what they are being rewarded for. You can hand out your points cards
yourself or “pay it forward” by giving them to your managers so they can reward their
employees.
How Employees Will Claim Their Points
1. Log in to The Save Mart Connection at http://savemart.achievers.com.
2. On the Recognition menu, click Claim Points.

3. Located on the back of the points card is a ten-digit point code. Type the point code into
the code box located on the My Points Card page. Click Submit Code.

The Save Mart Connection Engagement Pulse
The Engagement Pulse enables employees to share their day-to-day engagement levels
anonymously by quickly answering a question relating to their morale. At the top of the
Newsfeed page, employees will see the day’s Engagement Pulse question, which they can
answer by clicking an image that corresponds to their answer.
The Company Pulse Dashboard gives managers the ability to see their team’s anonymous
and overall responses to the Engagement Pulse questions as well as to compare it to the
organization as a whole. This is how we can respond to important calls for action.
To View the Company Pulse
1. Login to The Save Mart Connection at http://savemart.achievers.com.
2. On the Home page, under Manager’s Corner, click Company Pulse.
Note: You can also click more… in the Pulse Meter to the right of the Newsfeed.

3. The Pulse Trend shows how team and company mood has changed over time. To
protect anonymity, teams with less than 5 employees are not shown.

4. The primary check-in question is the initial question asked at the beginning of
each week. The Response Breakdown shows specific responses to the primary
check-in question.
5. The secondary check-in question is the question asked the day after the primary
check-in question has been answered. These secondary questions help add
another level of detail of your employees’ engagement. The Pulse Factors show
the response to the secondary check-in question, along with the date it was last
asked.

Buy More Points
If you want to award points the old way on The Save Mart Connection, you can do so by
buying additional points. By doing so, you can also select the amount of points you want
to award!
1. Log in to The Save Mart Connection at: http://savemart.achievers.com
2. To the left of the Newsfeed, click Need More Points?.
3. On the Need More Points form, enter the amount of points you want to purchase.
2000 is the minimum amount of points you can purchase.
NOTE: The cost is
automatically
calculated for you.

4. Fill in the Purchase Details with your Employee ID, Email Address & Phone
Number, Location, and Purpose for Purchasing Points. Click Place order.
5. An invoice will immediately be sent to your direct manager for approval.
6. After your direct manager approves, your specific location will be billed, and your
points will appear in your account in the “Purchased points” points balance.
Note: Purchased points will never expire and will remain in your account until you
use them.

Now when awarding points, you can choose how
many points you want to award!
1. Choose the amount of points you want to award by clicking and dragging the
sliding scale.
2. Choose Purchased points in the FROM ACCOUNT drop-down.
3. Click Post.

If your direct reports can award points, you may
need to approve their points purchase.
If you need to approve a points purchase...
1. On The Save Mart Connection, in the Admin menu, click Approvals.
2. On the Summary of Approvals screen, under Point Purchase, click View Pending
Items.
3. Review the Points Purchase details. Click Approve or Deny.
NOTE: The person who
purchased the points will
have the invoice charged to
his/her cost center or YM
account at the end of the
month.
