Search & Find then Books, etc. then Lakeland Catalog and enter your search. If you cannot find an item in the
Lakeland Library, or if the item you are looking for has been checked out, try using OhioLINK. From the library
menu select Search & Find then Books, etc. then OhioLINK Catalog and enter your search. OhioLINK offers a
combined library collection of more than 39.2 million items. You can request items online using either catalog
and pick them up at Lakeland’s main campus or either branch. Items are usually delivered in 2-3 days. You

Subject Area and select Medicine and Health to find

• Medline 20002000- (current) - contains the most current
years of the National Library of Medicine's online
database of references to journal articles in the
health sciences. Information in the database comes
from 3,900 journals in 40 different languages.
• Oxford Reference, Medicine - Reference books on
Medicine.
• Academic Search Premier - This resource indexes
over 4300 periodicals and contains full text for over
3400 scholarly publications.
• AccessScience - contains encyclopedia articles,
dictionary terms, biographies, research updates, and
science news.
