Language Directions is your source for language and cultural training. Language Directions is dedicated to building relationships
by removing communication barriers to business, military/government, health, and social interactions through specifically
tailored language and cross-cultural programs. From essential “survival” language to more in-depth study, we adhere to the core
principle that language and culture are intertwined and inseparable.
We excel in offering flexible, dynamic courses in a wide range of modern world languages taught by bilingual native or near
native speakers of the target language with deep ties to the target region and culture. Our instructors transmit a total cultural and
language experience in the time allotted. All courses are adaptable, fully customizable and deliverable in any location within the

Core Capabilities
Accent Reduction—Customized intensive course for individuals, focusing primarily on pronunciation and voice projection.
Advanced English—Customized course of instruction focusing primarily on more advanced communication skills (accent
reduction, presentation skills, grammar, idioms and business writing).
American English Competency Assessment and Training—Authorized TOEIC assessments and customized, need-specific
ESL to develop confidence and basic skills in American English.
American (or Foreign) Intensive—A total language and cultural experience to introduce the learner to life in the United States.
Bilingual Instruction—Courses in Communications, Compliance, and Computer Skills taught in Spanish or other modern
languages for learners with limited English proficiency.
Cultural Competency—Courses custom-designed for American-born and foreign-born workers to develop successful
communication between cultures.
Facilitation—Assistance in the transmission of essential information to an audience of limited English proficiency, provided by
native speaker of specific language other than English.
Pre-Deployment Language and Culture Training—A short term mini-immersion course for U.S. civilian and military
personnel to assist assimilation to their target region’s environment and culture.
Role Players—Various role player services with personnel who are fluent in language and culture of targeted region.
Sign Language—Instruction and interpretation services.
Speak Standard Too!—Instruction in the production and use of clear business English or Spanish for the workplace. Includes
teaching of appropriate behavior and expression for the business environment.
Translation and Interpretation—Services available for all modern foreign languages.
