 Communicates with faculty, faculty assistants, students, and staff regarding research requests as









part of the Faculty Research and Information Delivery Assistance unit (FRIDA).
Research and retrieve information for the faculty, student, and staff of Harvard Law School.
Maximizes prompt delivery of information, documents, and resources to the HLS community.
Assists with the broad functional and complex operations within the Document Delivery unit,
including interlibrary loan, and between the Law School Library and other Harvard University
Library units.
Searches bibliographic and full-text sources in print, micro-formats, online and the web to verify
requests, utilizing data in catalogs, reference sources, files and databases. Consults: HOLLIS,
Harvard E-Resources, WestLaw, Lexis Nexis and OCLC/World Cat
Trains part-time casual employees in systems used in the Document Delivery unit.
Maintains workflow of department when supervisors are absent.
Co-coordinates the University-wide Scan & Delivery service at the Law Library location,
managing incoming and outgoing requests, and supervising part-time student workers
Regular hours on the circulation desk performing various tasks including bar-coding, processing,
and answering patron inquiries
2 hours on the reference desk per week answering patrons questions face to face, via the online
instant messaging service as well as the Lib Answer page on our library’s website.
Interlibrary Loan Part-time staff
Fall 2001-2007
 Processes lending and borrowing requests from universities and law firms affiliated with
ILL database. Also requests from students and faculty of the law school.
 Processes payments and maintains invoice filing from the universities and law firms.
 Trains library interns in the systems used in our Interlibrary loan department.
