God is love
My dear friends,
let us love one another
since love comes from God
and everyone who loves is begotten by God and knows God.
Anyone who fails to love can never have known God, because God is love.
God's love for us was revealed
when God sent into the world his only Son
so that we could have life through him;
this is the love I mean:
not our love for God,
but God's love for us when he sent his Son
to be the sacrifice that takes our sins away.
My dear people,
since God has loved us so much,
we too should love one another.
No one has ever seen God;
but as long as we love one another
God will live in us
and his love will be complete in us.
This is the word of the Lord.

I shall return to take you with me so that where I am you may be too.
You know the way to the place I am going.
Thomas said, ‘Lord we do not know where you are going,

Lord, we thank you for the gift of Mitchell. His huge heart poured out love to all
those close to him. We are thankful for the love we shared with him. We pray
that he will now know the fullness of your love in his eternal life with you. Lord
Hear Us.

Lord, we pray for Mitchell’s parents Jodie and Brendan. Their love for him was
unwavering. We pray that the memories of the life they shared will warm their

Too young for goodbyes
So hard to be apart
Mitch, you were ours for a while
A piece of our heart.
If only we had one more wish
We would ask for a little longer
We all need a bit more time
So we could all be that bit stronger.
The day you went away
The pain in our heart was in every beat
But we all know that eventually
One day again we will meet.
So please know what you mean to us
And it doesn’t matter that we’re apart
Your cheeky big grin
