Supplementary Information Available:
Table 1 containing the binary interaction parameters of Eq. 8 and the Grunberg &
Nissian equation, with the temperature range (T/K), the molecular volume ratio of
small and large molecules (VS/VL) in a binary mixture, the total number of data
points (ND), and the average absolute deviation (AAD) for each of the 527 binary
systems investigated. It also contains a list of the original literature source for the
experimental viscosity data. This material can be downloaded free of charge via the
