Early Identification of Learning and Developmental Disabilities Project

objective of standardizing the Batería de Cernimiento Preescolar, a
preschool screening battery. Responsibilities include: preparing

1998-1999
Associate Investigator - Early Identification of Learning and
Developmental Disabilities Project (NICHD Grant # 1R43HD3695001: PI Alvarez). In charge of supervising and coordinating all research
and administrative activities necessary for the completion of this
research project, in collaboration with the Principal Investigator.
Responsibilities include: collaborating with the PI in the design,
construction and revision of subtests and test items; coordinating with
public and private institutions, schools and preschools where testing was
conducted; supervising data collection and test administration
procedures; data coding and entry; as well as coordinating the item and
test analyses with the Psychometrics Consultant; assembly of the
preliminary and final versions of the test battery. Responsible for
preparing technical and administrative reports and maintaining contact
