Call Short Narrative
While traveling south on IR 475, a blue Dodge Intrepid was observed in the right lane and also traveling south on IR
475 with no visible registration on it. A traffic stop was initiated and the Dodge stopped on the interstate north of N
Dixie Hwy. While approaching the vehicle I observed Ohio registration, FPU7492, laying flat on the rear deck of the
vehicle. I also observed a matching plate in the front window. The driver, Erin McClain, stated she just purchased the
vehicle from a person living in Wauseon, Ohio. She produced a handwritten letter showing she had just purchased the
vehicle. She did not have the title of the vehicle with her. The Ohio registration came back to a 1997 Plymouth that
McClain said she sold to her sister several weeks ago. McClain stated she took the plates off of the Plymouth when
she sold it and placed them on a Pontiac that she owned. She stated never transferred the plates over to the Pontiac.
This evening she then took the plates off of the Pontiac and took them with her to place them on the Dodge after she
purchased it. The Plymouth is currently registered to McClain' s sister and have different plates on it. I asked McClain
if she had insurance for the vehicle that she was driving this evening. She stated no. I removed the plates from the
vehicle and later logged them into the property room. The Dodge Intrepid was towed by VJ' s Towing. McClain was
issued a citation for Fictitious Plates 4549.09 ORC (M4). McClain was given a court date of March 8, 2013 at 8:45 AM
and released from the scene.

I was stationary on Fort Meigs Rd at the South driveway at Fort Meigs Business Center. I observed a Black Dodge
Intrepid OH-EPU7378 traveling Southbound on Fort Meigs Rd near Spafford Rd. The vehicle appeared to be traveling
faster than the posted speed limit of 35 mph. I estimated the speed of the vehicle to be 55 mph. I activated laser unit
# TS006433 and it displayed a reading of 58 mph at 453.1 ft from the cruiser. I stopped the vehicle and spoke to the
driver, Mario Rodriguez. Mr. Rodriguez advised that he didn't know how fast he was going. He stated that he and his
son had just gone swimming at the YMCA and his clothes were wet and he was cold . He was cited for speed and was
given a court date for 03/05/2013 at 1700 hrs. He had a warrant out of PMC. He contacted relatives and they picked up
his vehicle and his son. I transported Mr. Rodriguez to the PPD where he paid his waiver. I had good tracking on the
vehicle. The calibration was checked and it was functioning properly.

Mary Welborn was walking her dog on the sidewalk on the East side of Hickory Street, South of 6th Street.
Ms. Welborn stated her dog began to chase a squirrel and pulled on its leash, causing her to fall on the
sidewalk and injure her arm. Perrysburg Fire Division paramedics arrived and transported Ms. Welborn to St.

While on patrol, I observed a vehicle turn into Hood park after dark. I located the silver 2007 Chevrolet
in front of the dock area. I identified the occupants as Kyle Bradish and Alexandra Allman. Brandish advised
that he picked up Allman from a friend's home nearby and was now taking Allman home. Bradish advised
that he was confused about how to get to Maumee when he drove into Hood park. Brandish and Allman
were warned for park hours.

Karol Buchanan was operating a silver 2004 Saturn Ion (OH-DBR8931) eastbound on Eckel Junction Rd. Alex
Schivelbein was operating a 2010 Ford Fusion (OH-EOR3569) in the parking lot of Riverplace Shopping Center.
Buchanan stated that Schivelbein pulled out of the southern drive of Riverplace Shopping Center heading eastbound on
Eckel Junction Rd. in front of her, striking her driver door with the right front bumper of this vehicle. Schivelbein stated
that he pulled onto Eckel Junction Rd. and then Buchanan came out of no where and tried to pass him on the right, and

I was stationary at 235 W. Indiana Ave. I observed a grey Ford Flex OH-FGB4425 traveling Eastbound on W. Indiana
Ave. The vehicle appeared to be traveling faster than the posted speed limit of 25 mph. I estimated the speed of the
vehicle to be 40 mph. I activated laser unit # TS006433 and it displayed a reading of 43 mph at 634.8 ft from the cruiser.
I stopped the vehicle and I spoke to the driver, Michael Tafelski. I advised him of the traffic violation and he told me
that he thought he was going 35 mph. He was cited for speed and was given a court date for 03/05/2013 at 1700 hrs. I
had good tracking on the vehicle and there were no obstructions. The calibration was checked and it was functioning

While traveling NB on E. Boundary Street, I observed a tan Chevy Malibu (OH-FRM8670) traveling SB at what appeared
to be a higher rate of speed than the posted speed limit of 25 mph. I estimated the speed to be traveling at 40 mph. I
activated radar unit (E22204) and a speed of 40 mph was detected. I initiated a traffic stop and identified the driver as
Paula K. Martin. Martin advised she was speeding. Martin stated she did not know how fast she was going but did
know she was speeding. Dispatch advised the registration to the vehicle came back to a grey 2010 Dodge. I asked
Martin when she purchased the vehicle and if she had the paperwork for the vehicle. Martin stated she purchased the
vehicle a few months ago and advised she knew she only had 30 days to transfer everything over. Martin produced the
Title of the vehicle to me which showed a purchase date of October 2012. Martin was warned for speed and was issued
a citation for Fictitious Plates (ORC-4549.08A1,M4). She was given a mandatory court date of Tuesday, March 5th at 5
pm.

I was parked on Cherry St facing S at W Indiana Ave. I observed a white truck pass my location traveling WB on W
Indiana. The truck appeared to be traveling faster than the posted 25 mph speed limit. I estimated the truck to be
traveling at about 40 mph. I used laser unit TS006433 to perform a speed check and found the vehicle to be traveling
42 mph. I initiated a traffic stop and advised the driver , Mr. Kosch, why I stopped him. Mr. Kosch stated that he was
just trying to get home. Mr. Kosch was cited for speed.I had good tracking, no interference, and a calibration check
was done at about 1515 hrs.

the north alley near Elm House. The vehicle was displaying dealer plates 51-2365. The operator of the vehicle, Dennis

apartment. I informed him I had been on scene at least 5 mins and the vehicle was parked there when I arrived. I

I was stationary on Kip Boulis Dr at East Boundary St. I observed a black Honda Civic OH-FTE4237traveling
Northbound on East Boundary St near East Sixth St. The vehicle appeared to be traveling faster than the posted speed
limit of 25 mph. I estimated the speed of the vehicle to be 40 mph. I activated laser unit # UX014977 and it displayed
readings of 44 mph at 661.0 ft from the cruiser. I stopped the vehicle and I spoke to the driver, Linda Suber. She told
me that she knew the speed limit was 25 mph and believed she was going 30 mph.. She was cited for speed and was
given a court date for 03/05/2013 at 1700 hrs. I had good tracking and there were no obstructions. The calibration was
checked and it was functioning properly.

I was traveling N on Pine St at W Indiana Ave. I observed a black Dodge truck facing S on Pine St in the dead end
portion. The truck was parked and angled as to partially occupy the NB lane and all of the SB lane. The driver
appeared to be handling a phone or electronic device. I proceeded across W Indiana and had to swerve around the
truck to keep from striking it. The driver looked at me but did not move the truck. I then observed where the truck had
appeared to have turned around near the railroad tracks and drove though a corner of the right of way. There were fresh
mud tracks from the corner back to the truck. I turned around and pulled up behind the truck. The truck still did not
move or motion for me to go around. I then ran the registration on the truck. It came back to a 4 door Chrylser. I then
initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle. I advised the driver, Mr. Fisher, why I had turned on the emergency lights. Mr.
Fisher stated his dad had just bought the truck but was unable to provide any purchase papers. I asked for Mr.
Fisher's information. Mr. Fisher was found to be suspended through Illinois and did not have a valid Ohio OL. Mr.
Fisher advised his father was about 10 minutes away. I let him call his father so he could pick up Mr. Fisher and the
vehicle. Mr. Fisher was cited for driving under an out of state suspension, and his father retrieved the vehicle and Mr.
Fisher.

I was parked on Garfield Dr facing W at SR 25. I observed a blue station wagon traveling N on SR 25 in the passing
lane at what appeared to be over the posted 40 mph speed limit. I estimated the vehicle to be traveling at about 55
mph. I used laser unit TS006433 to perform a speed check and found the vehicle to be traveling at 58 mph. I initiated a
traffic stop and advised the driver, Ms. Hubbell, why I had stopped her. Ms. Hubbell stated that she thought the speed
limit was 45 and was trying to pass a car because of a tailgater. Ms. Hubbell was issued a citation for speed.I had
good tracking, no interference, and a calibration check was done at about 1515 hrs.
