DPtech ADX Application Delivery Platform Series
Overview
IT requirements for service capability can be summarized as "acceleration", "security" and "reliability".
The contradiction between service system deep analysis of application packets and high performance
requirements has always been a big problem for application delivery, leaving user demands unsatisfied.
To counter this contradiction, DPtech releases ADX (Application Delivery Platform) series products
based on innovative APP-X hardware platform, ConPlat operating system, APP-ID application and
threats signature library, providing:
Continuous service system
DPtech ADX series products enable continuous services and improve scalability through optimizing
server and link load balancing. ADX series products allocate service access requests rationally through
health monitor and load balancing scheduling algorithms, to ensure system fast response and continuous
services, improving server and link efficiency and scalability.
DPtech CAAR (Context-Aware Application Recognition) technology and ADL (Application Delivery
Language) technology can provide exclusive scheduling methods for users and dynamically load custom
application scheduling policies, which smoothly integrates application delivery with user applications.

DPtech ADX series products enable performance upgrading for services through N:M virtualization
technology. Users can configure application delivery resources to any applications on demand.
Service security
ADX series products support stateful firewall feature which can effectively defense various network layer
and application layer attacks such as SYN Flood, DNS Query Flood, HTTP Get Flood, CC attacks, etc.,
realizing multi-layer security protection of service system.
Best user experience
ADX series products can provide flexible user experience for service system and can develop service
system capabilities to its full potential, without compromising performance and latency.
First, the innovative ABR (Application-Based Routing) technology can enable intelligent routing which
controls service traffic and bandwidth according to application protocols. Second, ADX series host server
services through SSL acceleration, HTTP compression and Cache, etc., promoting server capabilities
and improving user access speed and application experience.

3.2T application delivery platform
• DPtech ADX series platform is the first 3.2T application delivery platform* based on high-performance
APP-X hardware platform and ConPlat operating system, which can provide over 3.2T throughput for a
single device and can upgrade performance dramatically through N: M virtualization.
Innovative technologies
• DPtech ADX series products support CAAR (Context-Aware Application Recognition) technology, ADL
(Application Delivery Language) technology, ABR (Application-Based Routing) technology and Best TCP
technology, etc., enhancing application compatibility.
Comprehensive application delivery capabilities
• DPtech ADX series platform provide link, server and global load balancing and support DDoS security
protection and application acceleration ( e.g., TCP optimization, SSL acceleration, Cache, Compression,
Application-based Routing, etc.), ensuring fast, secure and available application.
Efficient health monitoring
• ADX series products can intelligently monitor server and link status from network layer to application
layer, realizing efficient load balancing.
Rich load balancing scheduling algorithms

• ADX series products support L4-7 load balancing and link load balancing, along with more than 10 load
balancing scheduling algorithms, such as round robin, weighted, minimum link, fast response, random,
source address/destination address/source port HASH, proximity choice, broadband-based scheduling
and HTTP content-based scheduling, etc.
Flexible deployments
• ADX series platform support access modes such as NAT, DR, link, sandwich, etc. and provide high
density GE and 10 G interfaces, satisfying various complex application environment requirements.
High reliability
• ADX series products can effectively reduce single points of failure through power supply redundancy
technology, CLOS multi-plane switching architecture and N: M virtualization technology, ensuring
99.999% carrier-class reliability.
Typical Model
Server front-end application delivery (NAT): the client requests are sent to ADX, and then ADX sends
requests to selected real servers through NAT.
Server front-end application delivery (DR): only client request packets pass ADX, server response packets
do not pass ADX.

Link Load Balancing: timely detect and monitor multi-link states, ensure that flows are distributed to different
links in the most reasonable and rapidest manner.
Network Security Device Load Balancing: most network security devices based on session to do business.
Bilateral ADX deployment ensures a session request and a response pack pass the same network security
device.
