Kimberly & Mark
Dear Birth Mother,
Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to introduce ourselves and tell you about our friends and family. Our
names are Mark and Kimberly, and even though we haven’t met, we have a great deal of respect and admiration for your efforts
and sacrifices in choosing what is best for your child. We are both very excited about adopting a baby and we hope that after
you read this and see the pictures of our family, you will feel comfortable in considering us to become the parents for your child.
We always had adoption in our minds and believed if we were not meant to conceive a child on our own, then we are
meant to adopt and that seemed like the next natural step for us. Adoption is the perfect example of love from both the birth
parents and adoptive parents and we’re grateful you have chosen this path. The only way for us to complete our family is for
someone like you to share in the love and upbringing of her child.
We hope that you can feel the enormous amount of love and affection we will provide to a child. Your child will have the
benefits of attending wonderful schools and have lots of family and friends available for support. We are already looking at
saving for college and we will be supportive of our child in whatever path they choose.
Just as you probably have had, we’ve had our shares of ups and downs, good times and bad times. These
experiences have helped us grow and have helped us to grow closer to each other. We understand these are tough times for
you and appreciate what you are dealing with. We’ve found that time is a great healer. We are grateful for your sacrifice and
want you to know that we would be happy to maintain correspondence with photos and updates of your child, if that’s
something you would like. We feel that it is important for your child to be aware of his/her history as well as the love you have
for them.
Once again, thank you for reading our letter and reviewing our photo album. We wish you the best in making your
decision whatever that may be. We hope to have the opportunity to meet you and get to know you.
Warmest Wishes,
Kimberly and Mark

Our house is located in
Northern Rhode Island.
We live on a dead end
street and there are only
two other houses on it. It
is nice because we don’t
have to worry about
cars.
We also own a half an
acre of land for plenty of
room for playing
outdoors!
My parents!
Mark’s parents!
Mark & I met in 1999 at a club with our
friends. We hung out as friends first and
then started dating. We would alternate
seeing each other on the weekends, since
Mark was from Massachusetts & I was
from Rhode Island.
We were engaged in 2003 in Disney World,
which we love, and married in 2005 in
Rhode Island. It was our own Disney fairy
tale wedding.
Mark & I have been together for fourteen
years & married for almost eight years.
We are each others best friends and love
each other more every day!
About Mark & Kimberly
Mark and I have known each other for fifteen years!
We are each others best friends and support team. We
love Disney World and have been many times! I love
all the Disney movies!
We love to have friends and family over for cookouts,
dinners, and game nights (Me more so than Mark on
the games) I love to play board games of any kind.
Mark likes to watch , but he will participate if
everyone plays! Mark would rather be tossing a
football around or playing baseball in the yard with
friends and nephews! This is when I become the one
who watches and cheers!
We both love going out to dinner or to the movies. We
usually have a place in town we go for dinner that we
have become regulars at. We love bike riding and I
love walking, especially our dog, Annabelle.
We like going to museums, zoos and to Newport for
shopping, dining, and to look at the mansions! Mark
and I just enjoy being together no matter what we are
doing!
About Mark!
Mark was born in Massachusetts. Mark is the oldest of his siblings. He has
a younger brother, named David, who is married and has two sons,
Aidan and Gavin, and a younger sister, named Jessica. Jessica has a son
named Connor and lives with Ellen, Mark’s mom. Mark remembers long
days of swimming lessons, camps and building friendships with other
neighborhood and school children. His family did a lot of activities
together, such as taking trips together, especially to Disney World. Mark’s
parents instilled strong morals and family values in him and a warm
and caring disposition, which makes him a great husband and great
friend.
Mark works at a large company in Massachusetts as an Internal Sales
Support Account Manager. He has been with this company for twelve
years and it is a great company to work for with great benefits. Mark
loves all sports, especially the New England teams. He loves going to
games of any kind or playing catch with his nephews. He also likes to go
on bike rides and go out to dinner or to the movies. Most important to
Mark is his time with his family and friends.
Kim grew up in Central Rhode Island. She is
the youngest of her siblings. Her brother’s
name is Michael and he has three sons and a
step son. Their names are Keith, step son, who
is 34, Michael Junior, who is 27, Chad, who is
24, and Jared, who is 21. Her sister is
married and has two daughters named Grete
and Grace. Growing up, she remembers long
summer days hanging out by the pool with
her friends and lots of picnics or family
gatherings throughout the summer. We also
went camping on family vacations to New
Hampshire, Connecticut, Pennsylvania,
Maine, and Virginia. We usually went with a
large group of relatives and kids and we
always had a blast. Kim’s parents instilled
family values and strong morals in her as
well. She also enjoys bike riding, walking,
art, crafts, reading, going to art festivals and
hanging out with friends and family. Kim
works with her family in the construction
business. Her father started the business over
forty years ago and we are all convinced he
will never retire. It is nice to work for the
family, because she can bring the baby to
work with her or work from home if the need
arises and it will offer plenty of flexibility for
our growing family.
