Air Products’ Asia Food Technology Center (AFTC) is
strategically located at the Thailand Science Park near
Bangkok, Thailand, one of the world’s leading food
processing markets. This 650 square meter facility
serves as a Center of Excellence, to help Asian and global
customers develop and enhance their food preservation
processes, with advanced technologies and equipment. It
showcases a broad selection of our Freshline® cryogenic
and non-cryogenic offerings.
Experienced and dedicated team
Our dedicated team of experienced food scientists and engineers based in
AFTC can analyze your products, prepare test protocol and carry out trials on
your specific products. They are also available to visit your facility, analyze
your production processes and propose the suitable solutions to suit your food
processing requirements. We are committed to bringing you better food product
quality and safety. Your success is our success.
Facilities and capabilities
• A showroom and demonstration facility for our Freshline Solutions for freezing,
chilling and packing applications
• Research and development capabilities that enables customers to improve
existing and develop new food freezing technologies in addition to the local
development of equipment, to suit the needs of Asian processors
• A state-of-the-art training facility for customers, universities and employees
• A laboratory kitchen, where previously frozen or MAP food can be prepared and
tasted by customers to ensure the desired quality has been achieved
• An innovative online testing experience is also available to those customers
located outside of Thailand. You can witness how your products are being tested
on a web-cam by accessing a live Internet link. Alternatively, the complete
testing process can be recorded and viewed later from our secure Internet
library
