Description of content: This standard specifies the properties and test methods for
automotive diesel fuel intended for sale in Trinidad and Tobago.
This standard is applicable to diesel fuel formulated for motor vehicles, both on and off the
public roadways, equipped with compression ignition engines.

Compulsory status has been recommended in order to protect the consumer or user against
danger to health or safety by ensuring a product of acceptable quality.
