Lindsay Hoover Lindsay Hoover has over 20 years of experience in financial services, including investment banking, strategic advisory and consulting, and principal investing. She is currently the Managing Partner of Alchemy Global Capital, an independent financial consulting and strategy advisory firm. She is also Managing Director for Strategy and Business Development for Galen Enterprise LLC. Galen Enterprise, a strategic and management consultancy, works with clients to advance high-impact technologies in the marketplace. Galen Enterprise is currently the exclusive distributor to the aerospace and defense sectors for CBI Polymers, Inc., a provider of CBRN/HAZMAT remediation products to customers in the U.S., Europe and Asia. Galen Enterprise is also leading the marketing and licensing efforts for Blue Mars Inc. and its Avatar Reality platform, enabling shared experience, exploration and discovery through immersive, interactive virtual worlds. Lindsay most recently worked with the parent company of CBI Polymers, SKAI Ventures. SKAI is a Hawaii-based venture accelerator that specializes in identifying and commercializing new intellectual property with disruptive medical, defense and security applications. She managed all corporate finance and M&A activities for Skai and its portfolio companies, including: Eyegenix™, the world’s most advanced biosynthetic cornea; TruTags™, a breakthrough nanotechnology solution for the global product authentication market; and CBI Polymers, a material science platform for clean-tech environmental remediation solutions, where she also served as Vice President for Strategy and Business Development. Lindsay’s investment banking experience includes assisting companies with mergers and acquisitions, placements of equity and debt, and alliance formation. Before joining Skai, she was a Managing Director at Viant Capital, working with emerging technology companies seeking financing and strategic partnerships. Prior to Viant, Lindsay was a partner with Venturi & Company, involved in the origination and execution of transactions across a range of industry sectors that included financial and business services, software and media, consumer products and manufacturing and distribution. Previously, Lindsay served as Vice President with Houlihan Lokey, where she helped establish the firm's Technology Banking Group, and develop its private equity coverage, cross-border and strategic alliance capabilities. She has also held financial services positions at Wells Fargo and Dean Witter (now part of Morgan Stanley). Formerly, Lindsay was an officer of Pacific Capital LLC, a merchant banking firm, where she concentrated primarily on the firm's principal investment activities. Prior to joining Pacific Capital, she worked in Hong Kong consulting to U.S. companies seeking to enter the China market. Lindsay began her career as a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. State Department. She received a B.A. in Russian and an M.B.A. from the Monterey Institute of International Studies. She is Series 7 and 63 licensed. Lindsay currently serves on the board of Hands To Help Seniors, a non-profit 501c3 corporation.
