One of the most extraordinary boutique hotels in the Czech Republic with
the poetic name Rose, is situated in the building of the former Jesuit
college from the 16th century and the local university. In the interior and
exterior of the hotel there are original Renaissance elements, ancient
frescoes and paintings can be admired throughout the hotel complex. The
Swedish King Carl XVI Gustav and the Oscar-winning director Miloš
Forman as well as former president Václav Havel, stayed at the hotel
