15th Reunion JUNE 4–7, 2015 Dear Cornell ’00 Classmates, I t’s time to register for our 15th Reunion! Make plans now to join your friends and classmates June 4–7 for a fantastic weekend full of university events, class festivities, and athletic activities. You will also have opportunities to hang out at your favorite campus and Ithaca hot spots, catch up with old friends, and make some new friends, too. Our class has a number of events planned, but, because this is Cornell’s 150th celebration, there is so much more happening this weekend. Spend some time on the Reunion website to plan your weekend. As we get closer to June, there will be a Reunion mobile app, which you can download to your smart phone or tablet to see the complete list of Reunion activities. Reunion can be an all-inclusive weekend vacation or a day trip. We’ve made sure that the activities for the weekend are both family-friendly and perfect for singles; so, whether you’re bringing the kids or coming on your own, there is something for everyone. To take advantage of the special early bird discount rates, your registration must be submitted online by midnight on May 10. Housing FAQs What’s included in the room fee? The university provides bath towels, bed linens, hangers, free wireless Internet, and a daily towel exchange. You’ll want to bring your own radio, alarm clock, hair dryer, iron, and mobile phone, as the only landline phones are in the hallways. When is check in/check out? Thursday at noon/Sunday by noon. Can I smoke in the residence halls or bring my pet? No, you may not smoke, and only service animals are welcome. Can I get a room near my friends? If there is someone you would like to be near, please put their name in the request portion of the housing section while registering online. They must also request to room with you. Although we will try to make accommodations when possible, there is no guarantee. I have special medical or mobility needs—is it practical for me to stay in the residence halls? Yes! To communicate specific medical or mobility needs, please contact your class registration chair by May 24. Does our class have a block of rooms at a hotel? Prefer to stay in a local hotel room? A limited number of rooms have been blocked for Alumni returning to Ithaca. Review hotel information on the Cornell Reunion website, and call your favorite hotel directly for a reservation on a first-come, first served basis. 3.
