Name Due Date October 9, 2013 Literature Section Board Game Info Sheet with Rubric If the novel Wuthering Heights had a board game, what would that board game look like? Here is your opportunity to express your creativity in combining the novel with your “gaming” talents. Requirements and Guidelines: After reading your novel, design a board game based on the book’s central theme. The choices are only limited by your own creativity! Be sure to write clear directions and provide everything needed to play the game. The game needs to include the following characters including: Mr. Earnshaw, Frances Earnshaw, Catherine Earnshaw Linton, Hindley Earnshaw, Isabella Linton Earnshaw, Edgar Linton, Linton Heathcliff, Heathcliff, Cathy Linton (Heathcliff) Earnshaw, Hareton Earnshaw, Nelly Dean, Zillah, and Joseph. You will need to include the settings: Thrushcross Grange, Wuthering Heights, and the moors. You need to create your board game on a sturdy surface to avoid the project falling apart. You may use cardboard, a wooden board, etc. The entire board game will be a minimum of 14” x 14”. Failure to meet this requirement is a 10 point deduction. I will take up to 10 points off for grammatical errors, so please proof your work. This project is a major test grade; therefore, the project needs to reflect time and effort worthy of a test grade. Projects may be turned in before 10/9/13 for 5 points extra credit. There will be a 10 point deduction per day late (10/10 – 10 points off, 10/11 – 20 points off, and 10/14 – 30 points off). No projects will be accepted past 10/14/13. If you need help with your project or supplies, get with me early – not the day before the project is due. The rubric needs to be turned in with the project.
