Dear Baseball Fan and Supporter,
The Peters Township Indians Baseball Booster Club, the Diamond Backers, is pleased to announce that
plans are under way for the 2016 season! Peters Township baseball has a rich tradition of producing
winning teams including Section Championships, WPIAL Championships as well as many players moving
on to play at the collegiate level . Peters Township is also very proud of the fact that our teams have
produced 8 players who were also drafted into the Major Leagues.
The success of our Indians is made possible because we have continued to have a great coaching staff,
awesome young athletes and a tremendous amount of community support. The community support
comes in many forms from our fans and local businesses in the way of advertising, corporate giving and
in kind donations of products and services.
We invite you to continue your support of our baseball program, or as a new supporter, to join our
TEAM! The Diamond Backers work year round to raise funds for the needs of our baseball program
including scholarships, a winter work -out program for players and coaches, a Spring Training Trip,
equipment and facility upgrades.
Our program believes in the tradition of competitive high school baseball and the benefits to the players
and community by having a strong team to rally around. We know you may feel the same way and will
offer your support to the Peters Township High School baseball program. Please see the attached list of
support options available to your business. Your donation IS tax deductible and the Diamond Backers is
happy to provide a tax receipt for your records.
