Week 1 – admission and work with a beneficiary. Based on the Dellow Centre and Barka UK
reconnection team.
Monday 26th of April
9.00 - 10.30
Meeting of the SEC team at Satellite Centre, 41 Spelman street.
Tour of the Centre.
Organisation of SEC :
A. Structure B. way of obtaining results C. tasks.
Introduction to the induction itinerary (3 kinds of contacts & work in 3
areas: Dellow Centre, Job Centre Plus, pilot contacts with potential
employers) - Ewa Sadowska
-With participation of Barka UK team of the reconnection project : Marta
Jankowska & Janusz Smura).
10.45 - 12.00
Learning about the organisational structure, projects and activities
of the Dellow Centre, Providence Row including tour of the centre –
Dellow Staff members.
12. 15 – 13.15
Meeting with Barka UK reconnection project team at the Dellow
Centre. Introduction to the reconnection programme and the work of
the Leader & Assistant team.
13.15 – 14.15
Lunch Break

Review & Summary of the day (Satellite Centre 41 Spelman street).
Introduction to writing individual monitoring reports of each day.
20.00 – 22.00
Night patrol in Tower Hamlets. Meeting Barka Leader and Assistant
outside of the Dellow Centre (participation: one staff member of the
SEC team).
