(12) The first important factor is imagination. A successful entrepreneur must be able to see business opportunties before his rivals. In addition, he must constantly develop new innovations to attract more customers. Good examples of this are Bill Gates and Steve Jobes. Both of these businessmen became tycoons because they saw the possibilities of personal computers and had the imagination to develop software for them. (64) Another necessary quality is to be hard-working. Many successful businessmen are not successful immediately. They have to work long hours to establish their company. For example, although Sakıp Sabancı was a rich man later in his life, when he was young, he worked non-stop to help his business grow. (49) The final aspect is versatility. This is vital because when a businessman starts, he probably has to do many different jobs in his company. He may be responsible for product design, accounts, advertising and customer services. In order to do all these jobs well, he needs to have a wide range of skills. (53) In conclusion, successful businessmen tend to be creative, hard-working and versatile.
