Pray for…

On Monday April 14th, at around 10pm, suspected members of Boko Haram
swooped into Chibok, northern Nigeria, in seven Toyota pick-up trucks. Some
of the attackers set government & other buildings ablaze, but others went to
the senior secondary school where they overpowered the security guards
before herding nearly 300 of the female students – all between the ages of 16
& 20 – into trucks. They then drove the girls deep into the nearby Sambisa
forest. Some of the girls have escaped, but the remainder are still missing.
These girls & their families need our prayers. Here are a few ways you can
be praying:
*For God’s miraculous protection for the girls
*That they will experience His nearness & love in the midst of their suffering
*That God will comfort the distraught parents, & for God’s grace to the church as
they respond to their tragic circumstances
*That Nigerian security forces will take swift, effective action to secure the girls’


Warna Sear’s uncle who is near the end of his life, that he would be open to
the Gospel.

Vic Terry’s, mother, Virginia, who fell & has bleeding inside of the brain. She
is in the hospital in Florence, OR.

Jennell Morfitt, who is experiencing health issues.

Anna Obay & her mother, who is on hospice.

Deborah Brown’s, granddaughter, Abbey who fell on broken ceramic & badly
cut her leg –

Annie McKeeth is on a medical mission trip to a Christian hospital in
Bangladesh… pray for safety, team coordination, & good health.

Tim Teraberry who is recovering kidney cancer surgery & is having chemo
treatments -pray for full recovery.

Marvin Purcell is home & healing nicely! He’s having therapy on his left hand.

Ellis Broth’s dad, Robert is recovering from brain tumor surgery.

Claudette Osler broke her ankle & is in a walking boot.

Bob Penner is home recovering from surgery.

Karl McKeeth is recovering from eye surgery.

Glenda Dixon & Anna Obay for health issues.

daughter, Shaunerie, is now cancer free-but pray that she is able to get off the
feeding tube. Ron Webster’s brother Ed has stage 3 prostate cancer, & sister
Debbie has colon cancer; Ray & Melodi Horrell’s friend, Linda Howerton has stage
3 cancer. Joyce Siewert’s friend, Phyllis (Fuburghaus) Troyer has breast cancer &
is having chemo treatments. Nancy Conners, wife of Les Conners, with One Church,
One Child for Canyon County, has lung cancer.
Prayer for health needs:
Carol Knauss’s granddaughter, Christina Hoberg who lives in Ogden & has medical
problems; Bill Phillips & Dean Strange; both are on hospice at home; Lorena
Grosenbach at home. Pray for Alan Beavers’ recovery & salvation. Megan Brown
Olvera health issues; Glenda Dixon’s great-niece is in need of a heart & kidney
transplant. Claudette Osler’s great-nephew, Benjamin has a serious & rare disease
called potts – is now in remission; her great-niece Jasmine is also in remission. June
King has glaucoma. Lara Martin is at the Caldwell Care Center with multiple
sclerosis. Pray for Dolores Wright with declining health. Judy Reedy’s stepmom
fell & cracked her hip; Warna Sear’s friend, Amber who has pancreatitis.

Abraham Pegg in the Navy; he will be in naval school to be an Aviation Tech. Buntley
