Eighth grade Summer Reading Assignment Over the summer you are responsible for reading a book for eighth grade Language Arts. Fill in the compare/contrast graphic organizer for the novel you have chosen to read. You can find copies of the graphic organizer on the 8th grade LA webpage. Come back to school ready to discuss your book. Our first writing assignment will be based on these graphic organizers. Book One Read a biography or autobiography about a person that interests you. Use the graphic organizer to compare your life to the author’s life. (This will be the basis for the first essay we write). Interesting Titles.
